The Yext Explorer Awards recognize leadership and innovation in DKM — businesses competing on the leading edge of AI-powered search and delivering creative, consistent brand experiences throughout the digital ecosystem.
Now in its second year, the Explorer Awards program has been updated to align with the latest innovations in digital knowledge management and intelligent search. Yext has opened award nominations to our customer community — this is your chance to highlight your DKM wins from the past year. Submissions will be evaluated by our panel of experts based on a rubric covering strategy, creativity, execution, results, and customer focus.

Additional Explorer Awards categories — App Directory Partner of the Year, Strategic Partner of the Year, Preferred Partner of the Year, and Reseller Partner of the Year — will recognize the Yext partner community and be awarded based on performance metrics and judges’ discretion.
Yext Explorer Award Winners will be announced on stage at the Explorer Awards Ceremony at ONWARD18 on October 23, 2018. Winners will receive:
- A trophy
- A winner pack to help publicize your win, including a digital medallion and press release template
- 1 free pass for ONWARD19 in October 2019
- An Innovation Day with the Yext Strategy team, an interactive session covering your company’s challenges, goals, and vision; macro trends in the search industry today; and a collaborative discussion around how our organizations can partner together. You will walk away with a set of goals both companies can work toward.
Nominate your company for an Explorer Award in the category that best aligns with your successes in 2018:
Awarded to the Yext client who has used the Yext Knowledge Engine, specifically Listings and Pages, to optimize local discovery of their brand, locations, products, and professionals in measurable and innovative ways.
Customer Experience Award
Awarded to the Yext client who best demonstrates how they monitor, respond to, and engage with customers to improve their overall brand experience.
Organizational Efficiency Award
Awarded to the Yext client who has leveraged any combination of Yext products to achieve significant efficiencies in order to do better work and consolidate resources. Nominees must document work hours and/or budget saved by implementing Yext solutions, and show how time or money saved was re-invested.
Innovative Brand of the Year
Awarded to the Yext client who is an early adopter of new technology; an advocate for new fields in the Yext platform, and is using Yext App Directory + Knowledge Assistant to future-proof their digital brand experience.
Digital Knowledge Manager of the Year
Awarded to the Digital Knowledge Manager who is effectively bridging departmental divides to bring discoverability and consistent customer experience across channels into an effective strategy.
Brand of the Year
Awarded to a brand whose digital knowledge exists consistently and accurately across the digital ecosystem. This brand provides a superior customer experience by being everywhere its customers are.
